Vector magnetogram of an active region

Vector magnetogram of an active region observed by the Solar Magnetic Field Telescope (SMFT) at Huairou Solar Observing Station (HSOS) of the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The background magnetic field is the longitudinal magnetic field of SMFT. The positive and negative polarity of the magnetic field are shown in white and black. The blue and red arrows are the transverse magnetic fields at the positive and negative polarity respectively. The Full-disk vectorMagnetoGraph (FMG) onboard the ASO-S satellite has similar functions.
